Fleet Operations

The Sentry Protocol & FAQ

What is the difference between a Registry Member and an Active Client?

Your tier selection completely dictates your operational role and the level of matching labor provided within the fleet registry:

Registry Member (Standard Registry – $69/mo): You are placed into our passive database pool. This fee covers digital entry, continuous background monitoring, security audits, and registry hosting. You are eligible to be drawn upon and matched if a natural compatibility is identified for an Active Client, but you do not receive dedicated, proactive scouting or outreach labor from the Navigator.

Active Client (Active Search – $99/mo): You retain the firm for dedicated matchmaking services. This fee directly compensates the active, ongoing scouting, localized curation, priority vetting, and headhunting labor of the Navigator to proactively source compatibility options for you.

What is the $150 Sentry Fee?

The Sentry Fee is a one-time investment in the fleet’s integrity. It ensures that every single person in this fleet has “skin in the game” and has been legally cleared. You aren’t just paying for a check; you are paying for the certainty that everyone else has been checked too.

When am I charged, and what happens if a card declines?

Your chosen monthly tier retainer is automatically processed **each month on the exact calendar day you initially signed up** (your anniversary date). To protect operations, if a recurring fee is declined by your bank due to expired cards, account changes, or insufficient funds, a **$25.00 Administrative Recovery Fee** is automatically assessed, and access to active curation or matching fields is paused until your balance is restored.

Gated Vault

Who can see my photos and video introduction?

Privacy is our priority. Your Dossier is gated and viewable only by the Navigator. However, to ensure a genuine “spark” and mutual attraction, the Navigator may provide reciprocal access to your visuals to a potential partner once a formal match is identified. This ensures that when you choose to meet, it is with full confidence and interest.

What does “Verified Single Status” mean?

To protect the integrity of the fleet, we strictly exclude anyone involved in active or pending divorces, legal separations, or annulments. Unlike apps, we do not permit “separated” users; you are either fully available, or you are not in the Vault.

What if my Single Status changes?

Members have a 48-hour Duty to Disclose any change to their Single Status. Because this is a strictly singles-only membership, failure to disclose such changes results in the immediate loss of membership and the forfeiture of all ongoing monthly payments made to The Catch.

Can I change my mind after joining?

Yes. Per Connecticut law (CGS § 42-135a), you have a 3-day right to cancel your transaction for a full refund, provided the request is made prior to midnight of the third business day following your execution of the Operating Agreement.

Maritime Clock

How is criminal history verified?

All members certify they have no pending charges or prior convictions (excluding those erased under CT Clean Slate laws). A mandatory Criminal Background Audit is performed. Please note: If an audit reveals a non-disclosed criminal record, entry is denied and the $150 Sentry Fee is fully forfeited to cover vetting labor, but any pre-paid monthly retainer will be promptly refunded.
